Azure Grocery - Order Cut-off

Bulk Groceries, without a membership!

Here is how Azure Standard works:

Trash Castle is registered as a Drop Site.

Drop Coordinators are Volunteers. We sign up to "babysit" the pallets of groceries that get shipped from their farm and distribution center in Oregon.

Each Drop has a minimum. Ours is $3670. When you checkout your groceries, that total gets added to our minimum. You can ADD and SUBTRACT anything from your cart all the way up to the Cut Off Time. 

When order minimums reach $3670, Azure schedules a truck route, and we all get an email with a rough ETA. Ideally, everyone picking up groceries arrives WITH the truck to help organize and unload.

...but...

Trash Castle is a special drop! While it makes my work easier if more folks arrive on time to lend a hand, I understand work and family life does not always allow for a mid-day grocery collection. My Drop members are welcome to SCHEDULE a pickup of their SHELF STABLE groceries up to 24 Hours after the truck leaves our loading dock. Unclaimed groceries will be donated to the Pilsen Food Pantry or divided among The Love Fridges nearest me. Please pick up your groceries in a timely manner or communicate directly with me. I want to get your food to you. I am flexible and human and understand things come up.

If you ordered REFRIGERATED or FROZEN items, you should definitely plan to arrive with the truck. I do not have access to long term storage to keep your cold groceries safe. (Unless one of you lovely members would like to donate a Fridge/Deep Freeze to the grocery drop. Then, let's talk!)

The day of our scheduled drop, I will send out a Google Form. PLEASE FILL IT OUT SO I DON'T HAVE TO CALL YOU. This gives me a way to wrangle everyone's timing so I can make sure we don't miss each other when you arrive for your groceries.
